For a real battle music it misses sime deep and hard bassdrum and a snare drum. But the rest fits well.

There are a lot of good battle themes that DON'T have bass/kick drums or snares (or a typical drum kit for that matter) and use orchestral percussion instruments (timpani for example). The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (large influence in this song), Okami (which I highly recommend), and One-Winged Angel (original) are perfect examples. I actually avoided using the typical drum kit instruments to give it more of a feel like the examples I just gave. The theme that had the biggest influence in this song was the final boss in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (Shroob queen part two, to be exact), again, uses timpani instead of kick drum and snares.
I would put this into a movie. In a scene where the enemy comes to destroy us. Alien invasion! Thumbs up!
YEAH! That would be AWESOME! :D
Sounds like a ballad. To bad we don't have this genre in the audio portal (yet?). Very cool.
Yeah it is :) This is just a preview version. The full will propably have singing^^ And I hope they ad ballad to the genre list!
This definitely is a masterpiece. Well done.
Yay :D
Very cool. It might have sounded a little bit better with a slightly higher pitched shorter snare drum, but I think it's still ok this way.
This was my first time using any layering, and I completely fucked it in retrospect lol.
Thanks for the review!
Nice. You put it into the right category. It's House, not Dubstep, as Dchuyv said.
Yeah, I thought so. ^_^ Cheers!
Nice and funky beat
Nice combination of orchestral instruments and electric guitars. Sounds really cool.
